Charity Rallies are extremely chuffed to announce a couple of sponsors for this years Rallies

We would like to welcome on board two excellent companies that have generously decided to support us this year.

Firstly, Netparts (http://www.netparts.co.uk) Ltd are sponsoring both the Mongolia and Roof of the World Rally - and as part of that they have kindly offered a 20% discount for ralliers AND all teams this year will get complementary torches and air fresheners (which after a while with no showers I'm sure these will be greatly appreciated)!

Also, Roof of the World Rally are VERY happy to annouce the involvement of the Kent & Sussex Tea Company, these chaps are AWARD winning tea & coffee suppliers and will be supplying teams with their own stash of tea to take across continents and to share with the masses. I'm sure the tea will go down a storm in Central Asia so thank you to them!

RGS Overland Workshop

The Royal Geographical Society's Overland Workshop takes place in Terrington, Yorkshire over the weekend of 29/30th May. It only costs £10 per vehicle to go (this covers the food) and there will be a whole weekend of talks relating to overlanding (schedule attached), loads of stalls, pimped up 4x4's, story telling round the camp fire in the evenings and available (&free) camping space. We would like to thank Harry Caldecott and Archie Sanders for their enormous efforts over the past two years to develop Go Help. They got involved from day 1 and provided much needed help and guidance. Thank you

We now welcome Sophie Willingale and Ryan Walker onto the Trustee Board. Ryan and Sophie have been organising the Roof of the World Rally and have put in amazing efforts to help develop this event and make a lasting impact in Tajikistan.

Go Help now a registered charity

The trustees of Go Help are pleased to announce that Go Help, the charity behind Charity Rallies, has been admitted to the register of charities administered by the Charity Commission and will shortly be a fully registered charity.

Go Help has an innovative charity model and has grown rapidly since incorporation in September 2007. This growth has exceeded the requirements for registration and the Charity Commission are now pleased to welcome the charity onto the register of charities.

Our continued growth proves that the model of a volunteer led community not only raises more for charity than commercial (profit-making) fundraisers but is now seeing new rallies join the network, including most recently the Roof of the World Rally.
